Digoin draining plate

Traditional French plate or low bowl for draining fruit. Glazed on the inside. Diameter 20,5 cm, height 4 cm.

The Manufacture de Digoin was founded in 1875 in Bourgogne on the Canal central in Southeastern France. They perpetuate the old expertise producing stoneware goods for kitchen and garden.

The stoneware clay is made of natural mineral materials from France (Burgundy, Auvergne, Charente and Île-de-France). All pieces are shaped and enamelled by hand making them unique.

The potteries are fired in high temperature furnaces (1250°). The stoneware is both heat and frost resistant and is perfect for storing food.
