Pallarés Japanese stone 3000/8000.

 Pallarés #3000 / #8000 grit combination whetstone is used for fine sharpening (grit #3000), while the #8000 grit is used for removing the burr, and to give the blade that final polish feel, look.

The advantage of sharpening with a whetstone is that by using correct techniques you can achieve a remarkable sharpness of the blade, but it is necessary to learn the correct technique.

Pallarés whetstones include a non-slip base stand for safer sharpening, preventing the stone from moving around.
